Rock The Boat!

More than a blues exchange; it’s a blues experience

Join us as we celebrate the annual Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival — to support the Oregon Food Bank.

Portland Blues Experience (PBEx) collaborates with the Waterfront Blues Festival to offer 5 days and nights of dancing to over 100 live bands and your favorite DJ’s, as well as a DME Dance Cruise (included in your dancer festival package). To get the full Portland blues dance experience you’ll want to buy both:

PBEx After Hours Late Night Package: COMING SOON! PRE-REGISTER NOW!

To stay up to date, please join us in our Facebook group and follow us on our Twitter @PBExInfo. We will be updating both with the latest information on excursion, bands, dances and other events throughout the festival.

These events, along with all the amazing dancing and excursions that you have come to know and love promise to make 2017 the most inspiring and eventful Portland Blues Experience yet.

In addition, the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival is proud to include ‘Dance Kids’, the family friendly addition to the multitude of fantastic booths in the Louisiana Pavilion. The Louisiana Pavilion is located opposite the Oregonian Front Porch Stage (north of the Hawthorne Bridge). You will also find information on local dance organizations at our ‘Will Dance For Food’ booth, also located in the Louisiana Pavilion.

WOW, LOOK AT ALL THESE BANDS!

This year’s line-up is amazing as always, and extra special with the 30 year anniversary of the festival and a 5 day festival Friday June 30 – Wednesday July 5th.

We have worked to bring a wide variety of Blues and Swing bands to meet all types of music and dance interests from Fusion, Blues, Swing, Zydeco, and more:
